Maria Trevizo is a
descendent of the Isleta del Sur Pueblo of Texas and the
Tarascos of Mexico.
Along with her degrees in psychiatry and substance
abuse counselling, she is a traditional
singer and ceremonialist who’s joy in living
is contagious.
She works in the wellness field with many Native American
tribes in Canada, the United States and Mexico.
Through her work she helps both youth and adults rediscover
their inner joy and beauty. |

It is a great
honour and very special opportunity for us to be able
to bring Maria Trevizo into
Spirit Walk where she can
share and intertwine her knowledge with Peggy's, helping
to guide participants through sacred
ceremonies.
Maria is a Native American Indian Ceremonialist, carrying
traditional rituals, teachings and songs to the groups
she works with.
She brings a rich and powerful presence, grounded humour
and love to the healings and teachings she shares. |
